The Friends are a group of volunteer parents and carers who work very hard to raise money for the school.
Money raised by The Friends is used to buy extra resources for the children and to fund school trips.

Autumn 2018– The Friends are currently organising various events for this term including Christmas card designs, Fashion Show, Autumn Fancy Dress Day and a Pantomime Spectacular Day for all of the children.
Spring 2019- The Friends are organising a World Book Day event in school and are funding Seven Stories workshops in school. This is to help to promote reading across the school.
The Friends held an Easter Afternoon Tea for the parents and the community and raised over £300 to pay for transport for the summer term.
Summer 2019- The Friends have paid for buses for all of us to go to South Shields beach.
Autumn 2019– The Friends organised a raffle for the Harvest Assembly and Christmas Productions. The held non-uniform days on Friday 4th October and asked for chocolate donations for the Christmas Fair.
Summer 2022- The Friends have held various raffle hampers and supported our festival day.
Autumn 2022- The Friends raised £280 at the Christmas Nativity Shows. They paid for the Christmas party disco.
Parents and members of the community are welcome to come along to support the children of our school.
Spring 2023– The Daffodil Tea raised £300.
Summer 2023- The Friends are paying for our school trip buses. We are also having a Summer disco and Y6 foam party.
